A new mezzanine floor has been erected within an existing commerical unit situated on the ground floor of a modern mixed-use block.

Th mezzanine boasts exposed timber joists and steel framing. The exposed joints were carefully detailed so as to look seemless.

The new frame re-used the existing ground bearing slab without the need for new foundations.
